Event Overview

WHAT? Seven rounds of Evening Circuit Racing 

WHERE? On the purpose built 1.7km road circuit at the National Closed Road Circuit inside Pembrey country park. 

FOR WHO?

Race 1 - 5.50pm - 30 mins approx. Youth Racing 

B Girls (Under 14) 

B Open (Under 14)

A Girls (Under 16)

A Open (Under 16)


Race 2 - 6.30pm - 35 mins  approx.

3/4 Open

1/2/3/4/J Women

(separate points for Open and Women) 


Race 3 - 7.15pm - 45 mins approx. 

E/1/2/3 Open

(all going for 1 set of points) 

*UNDER 16 Youth A riders with a CURRENT UP TO DATE 2025 dispensation card* can enter on the line ONLY (No pre-entries) Your dispensation card to ride with seniors must be shown at sign on.

HOW TO ENTER

Follow the enter link button for each evening you wish to enter. This will direct you to the British Cycling online entry system.

Online entry fee: Seniors/Junior (Youth A entering on the night) £13
Entry on the night is also available: £17 

(youth with dispensation £13)

Categories eligible for both races & Youth with a dispensation card can enter the second race for just £7 - after they have raced in the 1st event.

HOW MANY LAPS WILL MY RACE BE?

After each race has started the Commissaires time the first few laps, then work out when to start showing the lap board to the leaders with around 5 laps to go. This will ensure the total race time is as close to the advertised length as practical. Approximate race lengths could be a bit longer than stated depending on daylight availability. This will always be briefed on the start line.

2025 points system:

1st - 100 points

2nd - 90 

3rd - 80

4th - 70

5th - 60

6th - 59

7th - 58.... etc.

 

Enter as many rounds as you can to add up points. 

Overall podium presentation to be held after the final round on Tuesday 20th May 2025

 


Info for Riders

  • Seniors & Juniors Sign on.
  • Collect your race number.
  • Youth go through the gear check before collecting your race number.
  • Sign on at the desk and take your race number from the desk steward.
  • Pin your two numbers directly onto your back pockets as instructed on the night.
  • Limited toilet facilities and no changing. 
  • Try to bring rollers or Turbo to warm up, otherwise please be courteous to other park users and ride responsibly. There will be a short limited time to ride a lap or two before your start.
  • Get to the start line in plenty of time for the briefing.
  • After the finish continue round the circuit and listen to marshal instructions who may turn you short to leave the circuit and return to your vehicle.
  • Please RETURN your RACE NUMBER before you leave.
  • Provisional Results will be posted on Ride - Flux Facebook page as soon as we can, then official results will be submitted to British Cycling.
  • Overall standings after each round will also be posted on Ride-Flux Facebook.
